MAYBE EVENTUALLY MYUNG WILL GET BETTER. And actually, Tsuru is a good earthbender but he does have a slightly different style, more graceful and stuff because it's heavily Fujian/White Crane whereas most earthbending is the Hung Gar/Tiger Crane style so perhaps if he does agree to help teach her that will be what she needed, someone who Earthbends a bit differently than most.

Oh. Somehow I thought it was a Disney Princess situation for Kai too.
WELL THATS GOOD THOUGH. THEY CANT ALL HAVE THE SAME BACKSTORY.
I think Myung's mom died of illness but her dad was angry he couldn't heal her so he went everywhere and tried everything but ended up losing all of his money so that's how he got involved with owing money to gang people.
But Myung was a little baby at the time so she doesn't know this yet.
I imagine her dad being kind of a sad person who doesn't have a lot of energy about anything in life (except he tries to have strength for his daughter) but she's the total opposite.
Things will get ugly, though.
I really also can't wait to RP where my evil firebender bullies people. I absolutely love his brutal violentness.... I think he's the one that they would send to "teach a lesson" to the people who don't give their payments or whatever. He's more the bringer of pain then the schemer/plotter.

I WANT TO DRAW EVERYONE'S CHARACTERS.
I think that Mimi and your brutal firebender must have some kind of interaction at some point. Probably involving Mimi's dad's issues.
And as far as mom's go: Mimi doesn't know her mom's identity, and her father has never been very forthcoming about explaining things to her. So ... that's an issue with them.

LOL NO. We were just talking about how Kai and Mimi's dads might be connected. Kai's from a wealthier, upper middle class family and has a mom, dad, brother and two sisters. Like, they aren't super duper rich but one might consider them up there on the social ladder.
I can't wait for the triads and Equalists. Especially since Kai will be new there and be all "OMG WHAT IS ALL THIS I PICKED THE WORST TIME TO COME HERE DURRR e______e;;"
And I want some romance for Tsuru... I mean, he may be into "girly stuff" like flower arranging, flowers, fashion, and stuff like that... but he's still a man! A heterosexual man! And he does MANLY THINGS like WORKING OUT. AND MARTIAL ARTS. AND MANLY STUFF.

Poor little Mimi is clueless about boys ... I hope she can find someone eventually, too. She makes friends with 'em easily, but she's really terrible at flirting. Like ... when she tries to flirt, it's ... so ... awkward ... No me gusta faces everywhere ...
Like ... leaning awkwardly on the counter. And her elbow slips. And she smiles. And looks oddly masculine. Tries to flip her hair and it gets all tangled in her hand, and then she has to disentangle it .... and smacks him in the face. That kind of situation.

EDIT: I think Tsu just needs to meet the right girl. He tends to be picky, not with looks (he loves pretty things though... he loves art! It's his job!) but more so someone cultured and intelligent and real... yeah. Kai... I think Kai is aware of stuff like that, but needs someone who can keep her interested and active and challenge her. Yeah. She's good with words... but I can see her being all "BLUH UH DURRR" if the right guy comes along.

But yeah I can totally see the unpleasant firebender/firebender interaction now. He's not going to be very nice, I can tell you that much.
My mind is already working out all the ways he'd threaten her/herfather.

Also, Kai comes from the Northern Water Tribe so since they had that tradition of arranged marriages (idk if they still do, but let's say they do or at least it's like in Indian/Hindu culture where arranged marriages are not they way they used to be but the parents still have a lot of input on picking a child's spouse and always try to hook them up with someone) and Kai HATES THAT KIND OF THING, since she's a total Gemini-type and loves freedom and even if her parents are cool people and more open-minded that pressure of marriage still looms over her head even just in the culture of her Tribe itself even if her parents don't force her too much (I could see her mom trying to, not in a mean way but still trying to set her up with someone) and even if he was nice Kai would be like "NO WAI I DO WHAT I WANT FUQ DA POH-LEEECE *snaps fingers in a z-formation*" So yeah... maybe she's sick of that and just wants to find someone on her own in a place that's less restrictive/different (even though she LOVES her family and her homeland she's just a free-spirit, adventurer-type who is always searching for new experiences)
... IF WE WERE TALKING ABOUT HOW OUR CHARACTERS ARE LOVE-WISE OR WHATEVER.
AND LMAO I AM JUST LIKE MIMI WITH BOYS. Maybe a tad bit less clueless about when they're flirting with me BUT I CANNOT FLIRT. EVER. FOR THE LIFE OF ME.
I also want to give Kai some kind of mount now... Like a polar bear dog... OR MAYBE SOME KIND OF WOLF-HYBRID THING THAT IS BIG ENOUGH FOR A PERSON TO RIDE ON. YES. SHE WILL BE THE FUCKING PRINCESS MONONOKE OF THE AVATAR-VERSE.

Lol! I have no idea. I think Kai is a the type (a Gemini lol) who is great at talking with people and can really talk with anyone, and she generally likes to. She's in love with the idea of knowing as much as she can and acquiring information and connecting with the world. LMAO SHE IS SUCH A GEMINI. But I love Gemini... they're great! haha.
But if you need someone for your character to talk to, Kai is good. Also, she is upper middle class. So maybe at first Queyn will be all "omg she's a rich snob" or whatever idk but Kai is quite down-to-earth and open-minded thanks to her upbringing... so yeah

Maybe Quyen(pronounced Queen((Coo-Een) knows of her but never really had the time to talk with her? I definitely want some kind of interaction and since they do live in the same city and they are pretty similar in age, it could work? How long has she been in the city?

Kai is actually a new-comer to the city, fresh off the boat from the Northern Water Tribe. So she doesn't know anyone in the city or anything and this is her first time there. So yeah! I mean, she wears water tribe clothing but would be able to afford nice things, like a nice inn and to eat at nice places.

I think my girl would have a LOT of "friends." Mainly people she uses, people that can give her cover stories... that sort of thing. Except she'd nurture the friendship as if it were real? She'd have a "personality" for every friendship all because someone told her it was too hard to play a shit ton of characters at once and remember who you're supposed to be.
That actually sounds like fun.
