Screw it, I'm making a thread for these guys.
People that have played Guitar Hero/Rock Band probably know their song F.C.P.R.E.M.I.X., which is the song that got me started on them too. But these guys are insanely talented - they made their first record at 17, and the lead vocalist also does all the guitar work for the band, which totally blows my mind (the band is only three dudes - bassist, guitarist/vocalist, and drummer). Thomas Erak isn't the best singer, but what the man can do with a guitar makes me look up to him as my current guitar hero. And I mean come on, who couldn't love a band with a concept album about a Spanish galleon meeting a ghostship from another dimension? My level of fanboyism for these guys right now is almost on par with Ookami's Skrillex fangirlism. I wish I would've heard of them a few years earlier, so I could've seen them, but sadly they broke up in 2010.

They strike a balance between poppy moments, heavy stuff, technical guitar work, and all that other good shit I love.
