I just wanted to make this thread simply because there isn't a character in fiction I adore more than this one. Aang will always have a place in my heart and I love re-watching his journey again and again. I could go on forever about what I love about him, but I personally think all you have to do is watch the series. Here's to the best Avatar who ever lived.

Well not quite the best character evolution ever, Aang has an incredible journey, from being my least favorite character in Season 1 to being this incredible character by the end of Season 3. And more importantly, I grew up with Aang and that will save a special place in my heart for him too.

I love Aang so much. I loved seeing him go from the goofy kid in season one to that mature avatar at the end of season three. He was pretty much my favourite character and I loved the person who he was in season one and the person who he became at the end. And I love getting flashbacks of older Aang in Korra (I love the beard) and really hope we get spirit Aang some time soon!

I remember watching Avatar and looking over Aang... Don't get me wrong, I adored him. I cheered for him and emotionally invested myself in his journey. But I was never affected by him until watching the series finale. It all just hit me in the face like an epiphany-brick: A twelve-year-old boy forced into the position of SAVING THE ENTIRE WORLD - and he did it. He did it WITHOUT HAVING TO KILL OZAI.
The spiritual journey Aang had to be subjected to, in a restricted period of time... Ah. Just indescribable. Aang had more wisdom as a child, than probably any character that will ever be introduced in LoK ever. Ever.
I love Aang. And I honestly didn't think I would.
