Ah, boys. I wouldn't know.... but I can totally see where that would be annoying. Sometimes I think they figure it's better to keep things from us than getting us upset, but it makes us more upset to worry about it and then our mind is always wondering... YEAH... that's the difference between girls and guys sometimes.

No, really, though, I realize I should never get in a really deep relationship because the whole intimacy and telling someone else everything freaks me the hell out.
I can't handle that. I need my space and my privacy and I can't stand people asking me what I'm up to all the time.
I'm actually way more open online than in real life.
So I have no idea where you guys are coming from really because I am really immature and selfish and would never do well in that kind of relationship. I would just become resentful.
BUT that's just me. I'm happy for you guys! haha.

I agree, Kat! Haha.
While I am completely open with Brian, we mutually understand the importance of acting independently, even though we are a union. I cannot identify myself as the relationship, but with it. If I was consumed, I would lose my sense of independence and individuality that made me a wonderful component of the pair in the first place. The same goes for him.

I know what you mean Lyss. I tend to not like to tell people about my problems, especially since I don't want to bother them with em... I will talk to people I feel comfortable with but at the same time don't usually say the whole truth of things... I'm a Scorpio! I'm kind of mysterious and I'm not into telling people everything about me. I've got a lot better at opening up and talking about my feelings though... but I'm still more guarded than most. There's a few people I consider "safe" who I talk about everything with... But not many. Out of my friends, I have like, one or two I share deep things with.
I also understand about wanting to go somewhere and be alone and have time to think about it on your own and not want to talk to anyone else... I might seem really hyper and energetic but I honestly love downtime and NEED my space; I need my alone time, it's an introvert thing.

Relationships should not become you; they should become an extension of you. You need to be able to function apart. We've all heard the whole "You have to love yourself before you can love anyone else," idiom. Love yourself so that you can extend beyond yourself and love another person. And realistically, you need to be able to separate yourself in case (God forbid) everything doesn't work out. It sucks to be completely integrated with a person and then suddenly lose them... and I speak from experience.
A relationship should ultimately bring more fulfillment and happiness to your life, but not ... replace your life.

Welp. I'm pretty sure it'd be hard for me to lose myself as I am obnoxiously filled with personality. Or so I have been told.
If we talk about astrology signs, Steph, I am an Aries. I don't even believe in the astrology thing (I mean, my brother is also an Aries and we are as opposite as can be) but Aries literally describes me perfectly.

I don't know. My relationship may have consumed me. I was a flight attendant and spent a good deal of time away from him, but it just felt like a huge part of me was missing. I also never get tired of hanging out with him, even if we are doing two completely different activities but are in the same room with one another. I wouldn't be the person I am without him and I am so grateful..  So, I am not a flight attendant anymore and working a normal 9-5 so I can spend as much time with him as humanly possible, while still being able to afford food, LOL. I am happy for everyone's "perfect loves". YAY! And I want to RP. I have the addiction itch. I'm an Aries too Lyss! Though I am stubborn, I think that's the only thing that shows from my sign. |

I believe in the astrology signs and such but in a different sort of way. I don't know about predicting your future but I believe when your where born, perhaps, has some kind of influence on you in some kind of way. I'm actually a Scorpio-Sagittarius cusp I was born on THE LAST DAY of Scorpio, at like 11pm! But I got this free birth chart thing from this site and OH MY GOD IT DESCRIES ME SO WELL. It's your Sun, Moon, and Ascendent signs that tell most, I think. So maybe your brother was born with different signs in different planets if he's so different from you.
Yeah, I love astrology. I mean, I understand how some people feel about it. For me, it's a way to get to know myself better. I read those descriptions and I don't read something trying to tell me who I am, I read knowing that is part of who I am.
