Except I hate playing canon characters so whatever it is, I'd really like to not have canons and whatever.
Rankin set in steam punk time is all I got. I suck at original ideas.

I was hoping for little or no canons. It's more interesting to have everyone's OCs and it's more natural of a story that can come from it... at least I think.

I want something WITH ACTION AND ROMANCE!!! ROMANCE YES. ACTION YES. INTRIGUE YES,

For an Avatar RP, maybe something about a little group of vigilantes against the Equalists idk. I prefer non-school RPs over school RPs, not that I won't be part of a school RP... I just feel more stuff can happen... OR maybe a bending school like Rankin but one that;s in Republic City. I'd like to have an RP set in the City since it's an interesting setting.

YES DEFINITELY. AND I WANT SOME KIND OF FANTASY RP... ANYONE ELSE LIKE GAME OF THRONES... MAYBE SOMETHING REMOTELY LIKE THAT... OR ZOMBIES. MAYBE FANTASY-ISH ZOMBIES *I love zombies*

And I think a story told from our characters eyes about the evens in Republic city might be interesting. I've got a girl from the Northern Water Tribe in the makes, I think.

I have an idea, if anyone wants to hear it? It'd run concurrently beside Korra and the main primeise is that Amon is not one of a kind, but merely an agent of Koh and Koh has other faceless agents working in other cities...

We could vote on a location and whether or not we wanna do spirit-benders or some other threat... But they would by trying to free Koh from the spirit world and the main bad could communicate with him...

It's a cool idea, but then we'd be tip-toeing into actually having someone be Koh.

I'm just antsy to have an RP get off the ground. Even though most of our RP's were rushed into production, the few that took off ended up being completely awesome. And because people always had new obsessions or ideas, there was always another RP to get into. So it wasn't ever boring.

I say we start off with the idea of our characters in Republic City and how the events are all effecting them yada yada yada and just go with it from there. Maybe some can be students at a bending school idk. I just like the idea of a less linear plot but with something driving it. Have a main driving story but freedom to let it evolve as we go along.

I'd be game for that, just start off small, like a sleepover roleplay from the old site, and have it blossom into something awesome like it did...

Do we wanna have non show characters only or a blend?

For an non-Avatar RP, what if we did something like a forum Mafia game, only it had to all be in character?

I am not at all opposed to your making of the RP.

I understand your reasoning for the idea of that rule but you also want to be careful. Sometimes when a scene only involves two RPers they want to keep going back and forth and why shouldn't they be allowed? If it doesn't include your character or anything they are involved in you can just skim. Making people wait around for other people too much may also kill the RP.

That said I understand if there's like 4 or 5 people involved in something and there's a rotation of posting and you don't want them to go on without a person. Obviously, it sucks sometimes when people post out of turn or just start making crap happen and you come back and you're like "apparently my character was just standing next to them the whole time silently."

I dunno. I just think you have to be careful because also sometimes people disappear for a while and can't post, and if their characters aren't involved in anything everyone else shouldn't be forced to wait on them.
