Some time ago, when superstition was strong and swords were mightier than pens, there was tale of beings that could change their shape. These shape shifting people could take the form of an animal, and for a time, these people were shunned for their strange gift, and were called "strangelings." But then there were tales of animals that could shape shift into humans, and suddenly these strangelings were not only shunned, but were viewed as animals themselves, and were hated and scorned for their strange power. Hunters were trained and sent out to kill these strangelings and put an end to the fear. As time goes on, we must wonder, will the shifters be able to live in society, or will they be forced into extinction?

2) All strangelings have an identifying feature that gives them away as to what kind of being they shift into. (Ex. A man who shifts into a bird may have a few feathers in his hair, a snake that shifts into a person may have a patch of scales on their arm)
3) Shifters can only shift into ONE animal/human, but any mythical or normal animal can be used.
