So basically The Lost Adventures are a compilation of all the mini comics of Avatar in the Nick Magazine, along with other stories, to create a short story graphic novel published by Dark Horse with 28 adventures that take place between episodes of Avatar: The Last Airbender.
It answers questions like
Where did the last Airbenders hide? (that was a sad one!)
Who would win in a match between Toph and Bumi? (haven't read that one yet, it's one of the last ones)
Why did the Earth King want to travel the world? (it's a silly one
)
etc etc
I'm currently half way through the 15th adventure, Private Fire.
I really like this series for the most part. They are all written and drawn by different people on the crew, so the quality differs between stories. Like in my opinion the Toph-focused adventure called Reach for Toph to me is not well done, both art-wise and story-wise. She does things and says things I don't think Toph would do, and the art just plain looks....bleh. But I really liked Sleepbending for both its art and storytelling. It just depends on which one you read.
READ 'EM =D You've probably already read a few of them, like Bee Calm and Water War.
And then buy the comic like I plan to someday to support our favorite creators of our favorite show <3
