Gene Luen Yang, who wrote "The Promise," just announced that his next project for Bryke is "The Search." The search for what, you ask? The search for Ursa!! Check out some quotes from the interview.

YAY NOW THE FANS CAN SHUT THEIR FACES.
Jk I really am super duper excited to find out but after all this build up I feel like people are going to be disappointed hahaha. It's sort of like a running joke among us fans as well as something we've speculated and raged and cried about for how many years now? It's one of those things that kinda sucks because no matter which way it goes when they reveal it or if they don't reveal it at all, people are going to be disappointed. I think. Also I am glad their making this seperate because I didn't want it to be Legend of Korra's job to tell us this story. It has nothing to do with Korra and friends and it doesn't need to be dragged into their story by a random flashback. In needs to be told like this, as it happens to Zuko and Azula. I don't understand why some LOK fans wanted/expected Korra to tell the story.
But I am really really excited myself. I was hoping for this!! I was lazy to read the interview (my computer is being painfully slow). Any news on WHEN it would be released?

I'm... not happy. Gene has done a really poor job writing the Gaang in the Promise and I don't want him in charge of the Avatar Comic-verse....
