 So, technically still as much of a character in this series as Avatar Roku was in the Last Airbender, yes? After episode 9 I had to make this thread because there's nowhere else really to discuss adult Korreverse Aang. And man does he deserve a thread. (if not now, he definitely will more as the series progresses, I'm sure of it.) I can't even handle this. |

I never want to see that scene again as long as I live.
My heart clenched so hard that I thought I was being bloodbent.
... It's quite possible that, at this point, I love Aang more than anyone else from the original series.
Never thought I would see the day I'd say that. But.
I'm sayin' it.
Aang is the most wholly fantastic character I've ever encountered.
He's human, but the avatar ... so he's got godlike qualities of grace and goodness.
Yet he's a complex being with many emotions and flaws...
And, ultimately, such a beautiful role-model for peace and kindness.
