Korra

I think Korra's character is so exciting. When I watched the first episode, I loved her so much because I saw so much room for character development. And what's more exciting than character development?
I do think we're finally seeing some development with Korra. When she told Mako to go console Asami it showed a lot of maturity that Korra didn't have in the first episode.
I also really love how different Korra is from Aang, it makes her an even more interesting character.

Also, may I just say how awesome it is to have a dynamic, kickass female protagonist who shows some muscles and is super strong.

While blow-drying and styling my hair, I was thinking about Korra.

I was thinking about how distracted I feel she is. Part of me doesn't think she fully understands the responsibility she has by simply being the avatar. I feel like she got so easily caught up in the pro-bending tournament and all of the political hoopla around the city and all you hear her say is, "Well, I'm the avatar."

She's so fixated on the physical bending, I'm almost sad to see how disconnected she is from the spiritual realm. She wants to help because she knows it's her place to make change, but she doesn't know how to implement it other than fighting.

I'm dying for her to just get her head straight and delve into meditation and find the spirit within herself to connect with past avatars. I FEEL LIKE IT IS OVERDUE.
