I've completely gone EDM... I love the genre. It's really interesting and I always feel more when I listen to it than any other kind of music these days. If you want, I mean, I'm no expert but I can recommend some music.
I just put the whole Skrillex thing out there... because you never know how people feel about him... hahaha.
Yeah I see you make chiptune, which is very cool. Have you ever heard of Lapfox Trax/Renard Queenston? He's this furry producer who makes all kinds of electronic music, including chiptune.

Honestly, had I not actually listened to him, I probably would've hopped on the hate bandwagon. But to me, his stuff kind of sounds like the electronic answer to metal - it has the heavy rhythms and low sounds and it's usually pretty aggressive sounding. And since I dig metal, it's only kind of natural for me to dig that kind of thing. And silly me, when you said mixes, I thought you meant playlists of music, lol. It's even cooler that you do your own mash up kind of thing, though. I can't say I've heard of him...my knowledge of chiptune is pretty limited, too.  I only really started doing them because I really dug one of the songs from the Scott Pilgrim game (Another Winter by Anamanaguchi), and I had a bunch of MIDI riff ideas laying around that I couldn't do anything with, so I turned them into chiptunes. I wish I was better at getting them to sound more video-gamey though. EDIT: And sure, if you want to recommend some stuff I'd be up for that. |

DURR I STILL NEED A BETTER GRASP ON ALL THE MUSIC LINGO. I NEED TO MAKE SOME MIXES THOUGH. I want to attempt to learn DJing, my friend has taught me a little so far but not having any kind of midi controller or electronic/digital turntable/mixer type thing I can't do too much practicing yet. I started learning how to transition between songs and have a practice setlist I'm trying to work with. I also want to attempt to make remixes one day. Maybe I'll try producing. I'd like to. But right now I'm just going to try DJing.
And I love Skrillex, he's a great producer. And yeah, I mean he sung in a screamo band, so it seems natural he went for a more aggro-sounding style. He's more electro with dubstep mixed in than dubstep alone. His Bangarang EP had electro, house, dubstep... it was awesome.
As far as electronic music goes, what do you like? Heavier stuff? I like electro, dubstep and house the most. And all kinds of mixes and hybrids of those genres and such.

Yeah, I was wondering how we had so many already...I saw 60 before, and currently there's 40-something. Insane.
EDIT: Oh crap, I never answered your question, Ookami. My taste in electronic is pretty broad - I love completely ambient stuff, dirty, bassy electronica, whatever. Anything's game.

I have noticed that. I hope they decide to join! I posted links on tumblr and facebook. So maybe someone might be like "OH HEY COOL" and join!
Also I am drawing my female Waterbender for the RP. She's gonna be from the Northern Water Tribe and be named Kailani/Kai and be a FOB in the city just as all this stuff with Amon is starting. Haha. That's all I've got so far.
