ALSO. Hello everyone! How goes things? I just started reading the second book to one of my new favorite series. Hopefully I'll get some good RP ideas. But then again, Game of Thrones is the perfect inspiration... I reeeeeeally need to catch up but I hate watching it when other people are home .________.;; It's reeeeally awkward someone will walk by when there's one of the sex scenes... I MEAN ALWAYS. IF THERE'S A SEX SCENE HAPPENING, SOMEONE WILL WALK BY...

I never got into that... Honestly, I don't get hooked on much...
And if I do, I have to catch-up with DVDs because I'm too lazy to keep track of new episodes. Very few shows have done that to me (Avatar).

I was not a fan of the small amounts of True Blood I saw. WAY too much sex... like, yeah. And I mean, Game of Thrones has a lot... But I just didn't care for the acting or anything in True Blood. I don't like modern-setting vampire series much, except for the Mercy Thompson novels. Those are pretty good.
Game of Thrones is brilliantly done. The casting is phenomenal. And the story is so full of intrigue and plot twists and it's gritty and well-done.

OMG WATCH IT OR READ IT. IT IS SO GOOD. It's an HBO series, but based off the books by George RR Martin. Fantastic fantasy series all about the "game of thrones" within the realm and all sorts of betrayals and alliances and wars and hints of magic and dark things rising and kingdoms, crowns, whispers, power struggles, family ties... ahsdfgfjdsdfhgfds SO GOOD.
Sorry I keep disappearing... I just downloaded these new blood splatters and streaks brushes and have been playing around with them. o3o;; I found a great set! Also never knew what "impasto" was now I know... MORE THINGS TO PLAY WITH!

Also, try "Tales from Malazan Book of the Fallen" series. Just started reading it. Also brilliant. Very dark, gruesome and brutal. All about wars and dark gods... Really amazing.
I'm a huge fantasy person. But I am also quite choosey when it comes to books. If it doesn't WOW me, I don't keep reading it. I prefer darker, more serious and complex fantasy books.
