Voltage (Final Version) - Skrillex; From The Upcoming ‘Voltage Project’
Someone... leaked the live version of Voltage. Oh. my. god. This track. Honestly, it's so amazing I kind of wanted to cry a bit the first time I heard it. And right now.
It just hit me.
And it has Sonny singing on it.
Seriously... I can just listen to this over and over again.

Silversun Pickups - The Pit
I love this band. Their new album is so heavy on atmosphere and it's glorious.

Jamiroquai - "Little L"
(This song makes me feel so sexy. Every time I hear it, I just want to gyrate.
Of course, that's my universal reaction to anything by Jamiroquai.)

Don't Stop Dancing - Kaskade ft Haley
This song has become the song I try to live by lately.
The meaning is so amazing. It's just such a beautiful song.
World outside you We'll let you in To share the beauty You hold within
Just keep going Everyday The silver lining Is on its way
'Cause what you long for Is free What you stand for Is to be
Lift your feet up Off the ground
Don't stop dancing, girl Don't stop dancing, girl ....
'Til you reach it You won't know Just what's the distance You'll need to go
But it's out there Beyond today The silver lining Is on its way

Johnny Cash - God's Gonna Cut You Down This song really showcases the percussive style Johnny Cash perfected over a long, long career. And there's something very haunting about his choice of songs as he neared the end of his life. This one, "Hurt," and the entire American Recordings collection are a cathartic listening experience. Cash was very open about his regrets, pain, and hope in the last albums.

The entire Tron soundtrack. Yep, every song. At the same time.
Just kidding.
... But the soundtrack. I'm too lazy to post individual songs.

Cash was very open about his regrets, pain, and hope in the last albums. I can't say I know much Cash, but I thought Hurt was a beautiful cover. He took the angst-y Nine Inch Nails version (don't worry, I love NIN too, I can say that) and turned it into something so sorrowful and touching. It's almost like he was singing his own eulogy, and even Trent Reznor himself said "it's not my song anymore". I really need to give some of those American Recording albums a shot sometime. www.youtube.com/watch?v=B8ajZByXutQJamiroquai - "Little L" (This song makes me feel so sexy. Every time I hear it, I just want to gyrate. Of course, that's my universal reaction to anything by Jamiroquai.) I only know the song with that video of him sliding all over the moving room, but it's pretty sweet. Also, I know the feeling. This song also makes me feel a strong urge to gyrate. Which I'm currently listen to.

"Burst (Skrillex & Kill The Noise remix)" - 12th Planet WELP. IF THAT'S NOT THE BEST COMBINATION OF PRODUCERS RIGHT THERE THEN I DON'T KNOW WHAT IS.

You should. They're one of those music experiences which really goes beyond music. They're an autobiography of sorts, and one that's nearly universal. When I listen to it, I see myself in my 80s, reliving all my regrets and trying to make sense of them. It strikes me the way a good book strikes me--really makes you reflect on yourself, your thoughts, and actions. Now Playing: The Piano Guys - Nearer My God to Thee (for 9 cellos)
